How to help infant sleep at night?

My baby, he's just 4 months old, doesn't sleep through the night at all. My wife and I are completely exhausted. We've tried everything, but nothing seems to work. Any tips for getting him to sleep longer stretches?

To help your baby sleep better at night, try to differentiate between day and night. Keep the house bright and active during the day, and very quiet and dim at night. This helps set their biological clock naturally.

Getting an infant to sleep through the night can be incredibly challenging. Do discuss safe sleep routines with your pediatrician at your next visit.

It is so tough when your baby wakes up every hour and you start worrying if there's an underlying health issue. I used to feel so anxious at night. Sharing your concerns with your pediatrician can give you the right guidance and peace of mind.

A gentle massage with warm baby oil before their bath can help relax them for a good night's sleep! 🍼 Keep the nursery cozy and dim. Hope you both get some sweet dreams tonight! 💤

Ensure your infant is well-fed before bedtime, but wait a bit to let them digest before laying them down. Check that their clothes are soft and there are no tags irritating their skin. If they wake up crying persistently, consult their doctor to check for ear pain or reflux.

Make sure you are taking care of your own body while handling these sleepless nights. I found that my thyroid fatigue made managing baby care much harder, so keeping up with doctor visits and blood tests is vital. Consult your pediatrician to rule out any colic issues keeping the baby awake.
