With our hectic office schedules, it is hard, but you must cut out junk food and alcohol completely to heal fatty liver. Try packing simple home-cooked lunch instead of ordering outside food daily. A 30-minute brisk walk daily is a must, no matter how busy you are.

Since fatty liver and diabetes often go hand in hand, you must strictly limit carbohydrates and sugars. Focus on eating high-fiber green vegetables, sprouts, and whole grains, and completely avoid white rice and maida. Consult your doctor for a diet plan that manages both conditions.

At my age, my doctor told me my liver looks like a samosa because of all the fried food I ate! I had to say goodbye to my evening pakoras and start eating boiled veggies. It is tough, but my recent ultrasound showed my liver is finally recovering, so hang in there.

I was reading that fatty liver is actually reversible if caught in the early stages, like grade 1 or 2, just through lifestyle changes. It is quite interesting how the liver has the power to regenerate itself if we stop overloading it with bad fats. Have you had an ultrasound recently?

I successfully reversed my Grade 2 fatty liver in six months. The secret is consistency: zero alcohol, zero deep-fried foods, and walking 10,000 steps every single day. Don't waste money on 'detox' juices, just stick to a clean, basic Indian diet and exercise.

Beta, eat simple food cooked with very little oil and spices. Drink warm water in the morning and eat fresh fruits from the market instead of packaged juices. Take care of your health and don't take too much stress.

Sipping warm water with a little lemon or eating amla can support your digestion and liver health naturally. However, if you have any jaundice symptoms, abdominal pain, or swelling, please do not rely on home tips and see a gastroenterologist immediately.
