Dealing with skin dryness is so hard when you also have thyroid issues like me. It's really important to keep visiting your doctor and checking if your medication dose is right, as thyroid imbalance can make skin conditions worse. Use a thick, fragrance-free moisturizer always.

I noticed my skin flares up when I sweat heavily during workouts, so I switched to exercising in a cool, well-ventilated room. Regular physical activity like walking really helps lower stress, which is a major eczema trigger, just wear loose cotton clothes.

Over the years, I have learned that the key to managing eczema is keeping your skin constantly hydrated. Apply a good, plain cold cream or virgin coconut oil immediately after bathing while your skin is still damp. Avoid using very hot water for bathing as it dries out the skin.

Eczema flare-ups require a systematic approach, identifying triggers like dust mites, strong soaps, or certain foods. A dermatologist can prescribe the right topical corticosteroid or immunomodulator creams to calm the inflammation quickly and safely. Please avoid self-treating with random herbal creams.

I feel your pain, eczema flares are so uncomfortable and make you feel so self-conscious. I found that wearing soft, breathable cotton clothes instead of synthetic fabrics really helped reduce the itchiness. Please don't scratch the patches, it only makes them redder.

The itching from eczema flares kept me up till 3 AM yesterday, so I'm basically a zombie today. Honestly, just slathering on a thick moisturizer and keeping the AC on cold is the only way I survive the night. Do consult a dermatologist for a proper soothing cream.
