How to help breast pain?

I've been experiencing a lot of breast pain lately, especially before my periods. It's a bit worrying and quite uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do to alleviate this pain?

I totally panicked when I had sharp breast pain last year and immediately thought the worst. It turned out to be just hormonal tenderness before my periods. Wearing a highly supportive sports bra and avoiding caffeine for a few days completely resolved it for me.

Hormonal changes often cause breast tenderness, especially before periods. Try wearing a soft, non-wired cotton bra for comfort.

I also experience this monthly. Swapping my tight underwired bras for comfortable, breathable cotton ones helped reduce the pain significantly.

My sister went through this recently and she was really uncomfortable. She switched to wearing wire-free, supportive bras and used a warm compress, which helped ease the soreness a lot.

My gynecologist told me that cyclic breast pain is very common due to estrogen fluctuations. She advised me to keep track of when the pain occurs in my cycle. If you notice any hard lumps, skin changes, or nipple discharge, you must get an ultrasound done.
