How to help ball of foot pain?

Been feeling this sharp pain in the ball of my foot, especially when I walk or stand for long. I work on my feet a lot, so this is becoming a big problem. Any home remedies or exercises that might help?

I was looking this up recently because my foot started hurting after wearing flat sneakers for long walks. It seems like having proper arch support is super important to prevent this. Has anyone tried those gel insoles for shoes?

Sitting on a chair and gently spreading your toes wide, then curling them in can help improve circulation in the feet. Practicing light ankle rotations daily keeps the joints flexible and reduces pressure on the soles. Take care of your foundation.

I completely understand how stressful it is when your foot hurts and you start worrying about nerve damage or bone issues. Please take a deep breath; it is often just mild inflammation from strain. Resting your feet and rolling a cold water bottle under your sole can bring great relief.

Ball of foot pain, or metatarsalgia, is usually caused by repetitive pressure or poor footwear. While resting and using padded insoles can help temporarily, consulting an orthopedist is the best way to rule out any stress fractures.

My feet decided to go on strike after I wore heavy formal shoes to a wedding for eight hours. Trust me, soaking your feet in warm water with rock salt while watching your favorite show is the absolute best cure for this.
