I would be so worried about a tendon tear, please be very careful with Achilles pain! It is best to avoid walking too much or putting pressure on it right now. Try applying ice and keeping your foot elevated, but do see an orthopedist if it doesn't get better.
I totally get it, Achilles pain makes even taking a single step or going to the bathroom feel like a huge task. Resting your foot and avoiding flat footwear can help relieve the tension. Hang in there, it takes some time but it definitely gets better.
When I had bad pain in the back of my heel, icing the area for 15 minutes twice a day helped me a lot. I also switched to shoes with a slightly raised heel, which seemed to reduce the stretch and strain on the tendon.
Since I manage my diabetes, I have to be very careful with leg and foot pain as nerve issues can mimic tendon pain. Please don't ignore heel pain and make sure to monitor your blood sugar levels as well. A proper medical diagnosis is always best.
Please take some time to rest your body and stay positive during this recovery phase. Gentle ankle movements while sitting can help maintain blood flow without straining the tendon. God bless you with a speedy recovery.

I dealt with Achilles tendinitis for six months due to running. The key is absolute rest from high-impact activities and doing gentle calf stretches only when the acute pain subsides. Don't rush back into running or sports too soon, or you will reinjure it.
