How to heal a fever blister scab?

I picked at my fever blister a bit too much, and now it's formed an ugly scab. It's really visible and I want it to heal cleanly. What's the best way to heal a fever blister scab without leaving a mark?

Oh, the dreaded scab! It makes eating spicy food or even a good burger so tricky, no? Just try to keep it moisturized gently so it doesn't crack, and don't pick at it. Good food and rest always help healing, even for small things like this.

Once it scabs, it's usually on its way out. The main thing is to NOT pick it, even if it feels tempting. That can lead to scarring or re-infection. If it looks abnormal or is painful, please show it to a doctor to be safe.

The scabbing phase is always so frustrating, feels like it takes forever. I used to get so conscious about it. Just try to keep it moisturized so the scab doesn't dry out and crack, and definitely avoid touching it. It's okay to feel annoyed by it.

The scab phase, my least favorite! It's like your body decided to put a little crusty hat on your face. Just leave it alone, for the love of all that is holy! It will fall off when it's ready. Don't speed dial 'peel-off' mode.

Ho na, the scab is a sign it's healing, so that's good! Just let it fall off naturally. Don't try to peel it. You can gently apply some aloe vera or a lip balm to keep it soft. Thoda patience rakhna padega.
