How to have fever in one night?
I have a big presentation tomorrow that I'm not ready for at all, and I really wish I could just get sick. Is there any trick to have a fever overnight so I can get a day to prepare?

Honestly, I've had nights where I just *felt* like I was getting a fever, only for it to be anxiety. It's so unsettling when your body feels off. Are you feeling alright otherwise? Sometimes it's just stress.
Fever in one night? Lol, I wish! Used to try all sorts of things in school to get a 'sick day'. Mostly ended up just feeling sleepy from lack of sleep trying to fake it. What makes you ask, just curious?
If you're tracking your body temperature, you'd know that a fever develops when your body is fighting something. You can't really 'induce' it overnight safely. Better to focus on what might be making you feel unwell and address that.
Sometimes I just feel so drained, like I'm about to get sick, and I wonder if others also feel this way, like a pre-fever state. Does anyone else get those shivers even before a temperature actually goes up? It's always a worry.
I totally get that feeling when you just want to know what's going on with your body. But fever is a symptom, not something you 'catch' on demand. Maybe just listen to what your body is trying to tell you, it might need rest.
Stop nighttime coughing naturally by elevating your head, using a humidifier, sipping warm tea or honey, ...
Why would anyone want to get a fever? It means your body is fighting something off. If you're feeling unwell, consult a doctor, don't try to make things worse. Health is important, dude.
Look, if you're not feeling well, just take a sick day. Don't try to force a fever, that's not healthy or productive. Get some rest, drink fluids, and if you're still not okay, then see a doctor. Time is precious, don't waste it trying to get sick.
