How to handle a fever?

My wife has a high fever for the last two days, and it's not coming down easily with just paracetamol. She's feeling very weak. What are the best ways to handle a fever at home and make her more comfortable?

Fever makes me so nervous! My temperature went to 101 last night, and I couldn't sleep. Does anyone else get so anxious about fevers? Should I be worried if it doesn't break after a day?

When I have a mild fever, I just rest completely and drink lots of fluids. No exercise obviously! If it's persistent or high, see a doctor. Never push your body when it's fighting something.

Always keep a thermometer at home. If it's above 100°F (37.8°C), take paracetamol after checking with a doc. Sponging with lukewarm water helps cool down. And honestly, just proper bed rest is the best medicine.

Fever hai toh rest karo aur paani piyo, simple. Agar tez hai ya body pain hai toh doctor se pooch ke tablet le lo. Don't be a hero, body ko takleef mat do. Proper medication is important.

Fever used to be a big deal when we were kids, now it's common. Don't worry too much. Just take care of yourself, eat light food like khichdi, and rest. If it's very high or lasts long, then definitely see the doctor, my dear.
