How to give lovenox injection without pain?

My wife needs daily Lovenox injections, and she finds them quite painful. I'm the one giving them to her. Does anyone have tips on how to give a Lovenox injection without causing so much pain?

Hello behna. Yeh injection ka dard toh hota hi hai. Humare yahan ek nurse didi batate the, ki jahan injection lagana hai, us jagah ki skin ko thoda pinch karke pakdo, fir injection lagao. Aur dheere se daalo dawai. God bless, jaldi theek ho jaogi.

Oh, lovenox injections can be tricky. My friend had to take them during her pregnancy. She said applying an ice pack to the area for a minute or two before the injection really helped numb it a bit. And make sure the medicine is at room temperature, not cold, that makes a big difference in comfort. Hope this helps!

Hey, I've heard about these injections. My coach always says proper technique is key for anything. For injections, make sure you're relaxed, not tensing up the muscle. And pick a fleshy part, like the abdomen, where there's less nerve ending. Don't rush it, just a steady hand. All the best!

Oh my god, lovenox is no fun! I had to take it for a bit too. What helped me was making sure the alcohol swab was completely dry before injecting, and also, using the fatty part of my tummy. Don't rub the area after, just press lightly. You'll get through this, sending you strength!

Namaste. For any discomfort, sometimes gentle breathing can help. Before taking the injection, take a few deep breaths, focusing on exhaling slowly. This calms the nervous system and can reduce the sensation of pain. Also, ensure you rotate injection sites, don't use the same spot repeatedly.
