How to get tooth pain to go away fast?

I woke up with a terrible toothache this morning, and it's making it hard to concentrate. I can't get to a dentist until tomorrow. What can I do at home to get this tooth pain to go away fast, even if it's temporary?

Betaji, until you can see a dentist, you can try some warm salt water rinses. It helps with swelling and cleans the area a bit. Some people also put a clove on the painful tooth. But this is just temporary relief, you must go to the doctor soon.

Tooth pain is rarely something that just goes away on its own. It's usually a sign of something more serious. Please, for your own good, get it checked by a dentist immediately. Don't just try to mask the pain.

While a dentist is a must, sometimes a cold compress on the cheek can provide some relief from the throbbing. Also, light activity like a gentle walk can sometimes distract you, but avoid anything that increases blood flow to the head which might worsen the pain.

Ugh, tooth pain is the worst! Feels like your whole head is throbbing. I've been there. My only quick fix was an OTC painkiller, but honestly, it just bought me time until I could drag myself to the dentist. Don't delay the visit, trust me.

Hi, I've seen many people ask this. The fastest relief is usually a painkiller like ibuprofen, but it's crucial to understand that it's not a cure. You really need to schedule a dental appointment because tooth pain means there's an underlying issue that needs professional attention.
