How to get rid of severe period pain?

Every month during my period, the pain is so excruciating that I can barely function. It's not just discomfort, it's really severe and sometimes I even feel nauseous. How can I get rid of this severe period pain?

Behen, if it's *severe* period pain, it's not normal. Go to a gynaecologist, don't just suffer. It could be something like PCOS or endometriosis. They will check properly and give you medicine or suggest what to do. No nonsense with health, okay?

Hi, I also get really bad period pain sometimes. Is it okay to take pain relievers often? And how do you know if it's just normal bad pain or 'severe' that needs a doctor?

For severe period pain, don't just rely on home remedies. Over-the-counter NSAIDs (like ibuprofen or naproxen) can help, but if they aren't enough, you need to see a gynecologist. They can explore options like hormonal birth control or check for underlying conditions like endometriosis, which can cause intense pain.

Oh god, severe period pain would make me so anxious! I'd be convinced something terrible is happening. Please don't ignore it or just suffer. You definitely need to see a doctor to make sure everything is okay and to get proper treatment. Don't worry, but do get it checked!

While diet helps overall, with severe pain, it's not just about food. As a diabetic, I know how important it is to get medical advice for any serious symptoms. For severe period pain, please consult a gynecologist. They can properly diagnose and manage it. Don't just try to control it with diet alone.
