How to get rid of sciatica pain in buttocks?

Been dealing with this radiating pain in my buttocks and leg for months now, feels like it’s sciatica. My physio gave some exercises, but it’s still bothering me a lot, especially after sitting for long periods. What else can I do for relief?

Dude, sciatica in the butt sounds super annoying! Like, how do you even sit in class? My friend had something similar, and he said physio was a lifesaver. Just don't try to lift weights or anything too soon.

If it's specifically in the buttocks, it could be piriformis syndrome which mimics sciatica, or actual sciatica. Both need proper diagnosis. Don't waste time trying random internet stretches, please see a doctor or a good physiotherapist to know exactly what's causing it.

That sounds very uncomfortable. I hope you get some relief soon. Gentle stretching might help, but a doctor's advice is always best.

For any persistent pain, I always recommend looking at the bigger picture. My doctor always emphasizes regular tests, especially blood work. Sometimes, deficiencies or hormonal imbalances, like thyroid issues, can manifest in various body pains. Worth discussing with your GP along with a specialist.

My daughter had pain like this from prolonged sitting for her exams. The doctor suggested specific glute stretches and ensuring she took breaks to walk around. A good ergonomic chair also made a world of difference. It needs discipline, baccha.

Sciatic pain in the buttocks is very common. You need to consult an orthopedic specialist. They will likely recommend an MRI and then a course of physiotherapy. Don't self-medicate or delay, early intervention is key here.

Hey, it's really uncomfortable when the pain is in that area. Focus on gentle movements and not aggravating it. See a physiotherapist, they can guide you on the right stretches and exercises. Don't push yourself through the pain, okay? Take care.
