How to get rid of scaly dandruff?

My dandruff isn't just flakes, it's like thick, scaly patches on my scalp that are really hard to remove and super itchy. Regular anti-dandruff shampoos aren't doing much. How do I get rid of this scaly dandruff for good?

Bro, scaly dandruff is the worst, it used to fall on my shoulders all the time. I started using a strong anti-dandruff shampoo prescribed by a dermatologist, like Nizoral, and left it on for a few minutes before rinsing. It got much better after a few washes.

Scaly dandruff often points towards conditions like seborrheic dermatitis. It's best treated with medicated shampoos containing ketoconazole, selenium sulfide, or salicylic acid. Consistency is key, and some people benefit from a pre-shampoo oil treatment to soften the scales. A dermatologist can give the best advice.

If it's scaly dandruff, it could be more than just regular dandruff; sometimes it's seborrheic dermatitis or even a fungal infection. I had a friend who ignored it, and it became quite bad. Please see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan to avoid complications.

Yes, scaly dandruff is very persistent. A good medicated shampoo is usually the starting point for effective treatment.

Scaly dandruff toh serious problem hai, haan. Regular shampoos won't work that well, na? You need proper medicated ones, maybe even a specific lotion from the doctor. Don't scratch too much, it can cause infection.
