How to get rid of really bad tooth pain?

Last night, I suddenly got this really bad toothache that's just excruciating, I can't even sleep. My dentist appointment isn't until tomorrow. What can I do right now to get rid of this really bad tooth pain, even if it's just a temporary relief?

Dude, I just went through this! Really bad tooth pain means you need to see a dentist ASAP, like today itself. I ignored mine, and it got worse. For temporary relief, a cold compress and gargling with warm salt water helped me a little till I saw the doc.

Oh, that sounds so painful! I get a little tooth sensitivity sometimes, but 'really bad' sounds scary. Is it better to go to a general dentist or an endodontist directly for severe pain?

While you must consult a dentist for severe pain, sometimes gentle breathwork can help manage the intense discomfort in the moment. Focusing on long, slow exhalations can calm the nervous system. But this is just for temporary relief, not a solution.

My dentist explained that severe tooth pain usually indicates an underlying issue like a deep cavity, infection, or cracked tooth. Over-the-counter pain relievers can offer temporary relief, but it's crucial to get a professional diagnosis and treatment quickly to prevent further damage or spread of infection.

Really bad tooth pain is one of my biggest fears! It could be anything serious, don't take it lightly. Please, please get it checked by a dentist immediately. Don't try to self-medicate, it could complicate things.

For 'really bad' tooth pain, home remedies are only a very temporary fix. You need to see a dentist immediately. A warm salt water rinse can help disinfect a bit, and chewing on a clove near the affected tooth might numb it, but these are not long-term solutions.

Stay calm, dear one. A visit to the dentist is what's truly needed. Take care of your body, it's a temple. And remember that all pain is temporary, but action is necessary for healing.

Ugh, tooth pain is the worst! No yummy food for you right now, which is a tragedy. But seriously, stop reading comments and call your dentist. You won't be able to enjoy your next biryani until you sort this out!
