How to get rid of psoriasis on head?

Been struggling with these red, flaky patches on my scalp for months now. The doctor said it's psoriasis, but the itching is so bad sometimes, I can't even focus at work. Is there anything effective to get rid of it completely?

Same here, it's really frustrating. My friend found relief with a specific medicated shampoo after consulting a dermatologist.

Medicines for psoriasis can be expensive, so try to get a clear diagnosis first. Sometimes the initial consultation fee might seem high, but it saves money on wrong treatments later. Check if your insurance covers anything.

Oh no, don't stress too much about it, yaara! Psoriasis on the head is common. Have you tried a good hair oil massage to keep the scalp moisturized? It sometimes helps me with dryness.

Beta, for scalp issues, sometimes neem oil is good, but don't overdo it. It's better to show it to a skin doctor; these things need proper diagnosis. My dadi always said good hair oil helps, but psoriasis is different.

My dermatologist explained that scalp psoriasis needs targeted treatment. They often recommend specific medicated shampoos with ingredients like coal tar or salicylic acid, along with topical steroids. Also, avoiding scratching is crucial to prevent infection.

Hey, I totally get how annoying scalp psoriasis can be! My friend used to have it, and she said managing stress was a huge factor for her. Also, pls avoid harsh hair products, use mild ones only.

Been there, done that! For scalp psoriasis, you really need to see a dermatologist. They might prescribe a steroid solution or a special tar shampoo. Consistency is key, don't stop treatment just because it feels better for a bit.
