How to get rid of pain?

I've been having this dull ache in my knee for a few days now, nothing specific caused it. It's not severe, but it's annoying. What are some general ways to get rid of pain?

You haven't mentioned what kind of pain it is or where it is located. If it is chest pain, sudden severe abdominal pain, or accompanied by dizziness, please don't wait and go to an emergency room immediately. For any regular body pain, it is always safest to get a doctor's diagnosis instead of self-medicating.

When my son complains of general growing pains or muscle tiredness, I make him take a warm bath and rest properly. But we never ignore persistent pain. If it goes on for more than a day, we immediately visit our family pediatrician to be safe.

Whenever I have mild muscle aches, I honestly just drink a warm cup of haldi doodh and eat some comfort food to feel better. But if it's a severe ache, even my favorite samosas can't cheer me up! Make sure you find out the actual cause from a doc if it doesn't go away.

I track my daily activity and recovery metrics on my smartwatch, and usually, mild body pain is just a sign of muscle fatigue. I try to focus on my sleep score and hydration levels to speed up recovery. But if your pain levels are high, definitely stop tracking and see a doctor.

I get it, dealing with sudden body aches can totally ruin your day and plans. If it's just mild muscle fatigue, resting and using a warm heating pad helps me a lot. Just take it easy today and get some proper sleep, okay?
