How to get rid of nummular eczema?

I have these coin-shaped itchy patches on my skin that my dermatologist called nummular eczema. It's very irritating and sometimes flares up. How do people usually get rid of this?

Honestly, cutting down on my daily spicy misal pav and oily junk was so hard, but changing my diet helped cool down my skin flare-ups. I had to focus on drinking lots of water and eating cooling curd rice instead of my usual heavy masalas. Keeping the body cool from inside works wonders along with whatever cream you use.

I completely understand how frustrating and embarrassing those round patches can feel, especially when they itch like crazy at night. I used to feel so self-conscious wearing short sleeves, but please hang in there. It gets better once you find the right doctor and stop scratching it.

Listen, don't stress yourself out too much because anxiety only makes eczema worse. Just make sure you are using very mild, soap-free body washes and avoiding very hot water baths. I'll highly recommend visiting a good skin specialist soon so they can give you the right ointment to calm it down.

I just got over those annoying coin-shaped itchy patches last month. The absolute key is to never let the skin dry out, so I applied heavy moisturizer immediately after bathing while my skin was still damp. My dermatologist also gave me a specific mild steroid cream that cleared it up in two weeks, so please go get a proper prescription.

Please do not ignore these patches thinking they are just dry skin. I delayed showing my spots to a doctor for six months, and they ended up getting badly infected and left dark scars all over my legs. Go to a skin specialist immediately before it spreads or gets worse.

Skin consultations and those fancy imported creams can get really expensive if you keep experimenting. It is actually much cheaper in the long run to pay for one good dermatologist visit and get a targeted prescription rather than buying random over-the-counter moisturizers that don't work. Plan your medical budget for this month to include a proper checkup.

In my fifty years, I have realized these skin issues require extreme patience and gentle care. Back in my day, we would avoid harsh chemical soaps entirely and stick to simple, plain coconut oil for basic dryness, but you must consult a proper skin doctor for these specific round eczema spots. Don't worry, it is very manageable with modern medicines.
