It is incredibly frustrating when your body stops you from doing what you love. I went through this last year and felt so low, but please listen to your body and rest now so you can heal.

Hip pain from running can be due to IT band syndrome or hip bursitis. It's best to consult a sports physiotherapist who can assess your gait and suggest specific strengthening exercises for your glutes.

I tried running to get better sleep, but ended up with hip pain that kept me awake all night instead. Absolute win-win situation! Seriously, ice the area for 15 minutes and take a break from running.

Yaar, running on hard roads without proper warm-up actually ruins the hip joints. You should try switching to grass or treadmill for a while, and definitely check if your running shoes need a replacement.

With thyroid issues, my muscle recovery is very slow and joints hurt easily if I overdo running. I recommend getting your basic blood levels checked along with physical therapy, as deficiencies can also worsen joint pain.
