How to get rid of hanging skin after weight loss?

I've managed to lose a good amount of weight recently, which I'm happy about. But now I have this loose, hanging skin, especially on my stomach and arms. It's making me self-conscious, and I want to know if there's a way to get rid of it.

Strength training is key to filling out that loose skin with lean muscle. Focus on progressive overload in the gym if your doctor has cleared you for heavy lifting. It takes time, but your body composition will definitely improve.

Losing weight is a great achievement, so please don't feel bad about some loose skin. Our skin naturally loses its elasticity as we grow older, so just keep doing your daily walks and eat healthy. Be proud of your journey.

I lost 35 kgs last year and had a lot of loose skin around my stomach. Staying hydrated and focusing on targeted core workouts helped tighten it up over several months. Give your skin time to adapt, it doesn't happen overnight.

Listen, you lost the weight, which is the hardest part. Now don't expect the loose skin to vanish like magic in a week. Hit the gym, lift weights, eat your protein, and be patient with the process.

I have just started my weight loss journey and I am very worried about getting loose skin. Does using firming lotions really help, or is it mostly down to genetics and exercise?

I have some hanging skin under my arms after losing 15 kgs, and it makes me feel so self-conscious wearing sleeveless clothes. Does anyone else feel super conscious about this, and did any specific exercise help you?

You have done an amazing job losing weight, please don't stress! I always worry about skin surgery risks, so I'd suggest trying natural muscle building first. Definitely consult a fitness expert and a doctor to guide you safely.
