How to get rid of fever while pregnant?

I'm in my second trimester and suddenly got a fever. I'm really worried about taking any medicines that might affect the baby. What can I do to bring down the fever safely?

Please be very careful, as high fever in the first trimester can be risky for the baby. Don't wait for home remedies to work. Even before taking basic paracetamol, send a quick text to your doctor just to be absolutely safe.

During pregnancy, we cannot just pop any random tablet. Stick to safe physical methods first, like putting cold water strips on your forehead and neck to lower temperature. Keep yourself hydrated with simple coconut water and call your gynaecologist immediately.

I had a viral fever in my 6th month just last week. My gynaecologist told me that keeping the fever down is the main priority, so she prescribed a safe dose of paracetamol. Sponge baths with normal water really saved me from shivering.

Pregnancy me toh har cheez ka dhyan rakhna padta hai na. Khud se koi pill mat lena abhi, haan. Doctor ko phone karo aur tab tak simple dahi ya heavy khana avoid karke halka soup piyo.

I am currently in my second trimester and running a mild fever since morning, which has made me so nervous. Did anyone else experience this and go on to have a perfectly healthy baby? I am waiting for my doc's call.
