How to get rid of fever sores fast?

Been getting these fever sores on my lip every time I feel run down. They're so painful and ugly, especially when I have an important event coming up. Is there any way to make them go away quickly?

If you want them to heal quickly, start applying an antiviral gel at the very first sign of itching. You can track your symptoms on any basic health app to notice patterns of when they usually break out.

Please try not to scratch or pick at them, as it will only make them last longer. Applying a little cool coconut oil can help reduce the dryness and soothe the skin.

Dude, fever blister before an exam or presentation is literally the worst. Just put some ice on it for 10 minutes to reduce the swelling, and don't lick your lips. Let it dry out naturally.

I have also developed these tiny blisters on my upper lip after a high fever yesterday, and they burn quite a bit. Does anyone know if applying normal lip balm is safe, or will it make the infection worse?

I once ignored what I thought was a simple cold sore and it spread badly, causing a massive infection on my chin. Don't just sit and wait for it to go away if it's spreading fast. Go see a doctor and get the proper ointment.

For fast recovery, keeping the area clean is vital. You can use an over-the-counter ointment like acyclovir after consulting a pharmacist, and make sure to use a separate towel to prevent spreading the virus to others.

I totally get it, those sores are not just painful but they also make you feel so self-conscious. Don't worry, they usually start drying up in a few days. Just stay hydrated and avoid touching them.
