How to get rid of fever chills?

I've had a fever for a couple of days, and now I'm getting constant chills, even when wrapped in blankets. How can I get rid of these fever chills and feel more comfortable?

When you have chills, cover yourself with a light blanket so your body temperature doesn't shoot up too fast. Since I have diabetes, I avoid sweet hot drinks and stick to warm unsweetened vegetable soup or simple warm water to stay hydrated.

I had terrible chills during viral fever last week. What helped was taking a paracetamol as prescribed by my doctor, wearing comfortable cotton clothes, and sipping warm water. The shivering stopped within an hour of taking the medicine.

Haan na, fever chills are really scary when the whole body starts shivering. Just cover yourself with a warm blanket, but don't use too many heavy rajais, otherwise the fever might rise inside. Rest completely and let someone check your temperature, ho na.

Chills are just your body's way of fighting off the illness, so do not be afraid. Keep a calm mind, rest your body completely, and drink warm water boiled with a little ginger and tulsi. God will heal you soon, just take deep breaths.

I tried taking hot showers to stop the chills, but that actually made me feel dizzier once I stepped out. The most practical thing is to stay in a draft-free room, drink warm liquids, and use a damp cloth on your forehead if the fever goes high.

Please lie down and rest under a warm blanket. Drink some warm soup or water to feel comfortable from within. If the shivering is too severe or doesn't stop, please contact a doctor immediately.
