How to get rid of fever blisters faster?

Just got a new fever blister, and I'm hoping to make it go away as quickly as possible. Are there any tricks or products that help get rid of fever blisters faster than usual?

In our family, we apply a small drop of pure sandalwood paste or fresh neem paste on the blister to cool down the heat. It is very soothing, but make sure the paste is pure and clean. Drink plenty of tender coconut water to cool your system from inside.

Over the years, I have realized that these blisters only flare up when you are physically exhausted or highly stressed. There is no instant cure. Just take a couple of days off, sleep well, eat simple dal-khichdi, and your body will clear the infection on its own.

If you want them gone fast, skip the kitchen remedies and buy an OTC cold sore patch or acyclovir cream from the pharmacy. Apply it exactly as directed on the pack. Also, switch to a new toothbrush once the blisters are gone.

I tried toothpaste, garlic, and vinegar on my blisters, and honestly, they all just burned my skin and made the marks stay longer. The only practical home tip that actually works is applying a cold milk compress several times a day to dry them up gently.

To make them heal faster, completely avoid touching them with your fingers, as that introduces bacteria. I use a clean cotton swab to apply a little petroleum jelly so the blister doesn't dry out too painfully and crack. Staying hydrated also helps big time.

I got so worried that the infection might spread to my whole face, so I kept checking the mirror every hour. Honestly, please don't panic or scratch them. Just consult a doctor for a proper antiviral cream so you don't make it worse by overthinking like I did.
