How to get rid of feeling of vomiting?
Sometimes after eating, I get this really strong feeling of wanting to vomit, even if I don't actually throw up. It makes me feel uneasy. Is there anything specific that helps reduce this sensation?

Just cut out all dairy and oily foods for the day. Sit in a cool, air-conditioned room and try chewing some mint leaves or drinking some light mint tea. If you feel like vomiting, don't suppress it, sometimes letting it out makes you feel much better.
My grandmother always suggests drinking warm water boiled with coriander seeds and cumin for stomach upset. It really calms the gut, but if the vomiting feeling is very strong and you can't keep any liquids down, it is best to visit a doctor for an injection.

I had terrible food poisoning last week and couldn't get rid of the vomiting sensation. What helped me survive was taking tiny sips of ORS water every ten minutes and eating plain salted crackers. Don't eat heavy meals at all until your stomach settles completely.
