How to get rid of eyebrow dandruff?

It's so weird, but I've started getting dandruff in my eyebrows! It looks really bad when flakes fall off. How do I get rid of eyebrow dandruff without irritating my skin or eyes?

First the hair on my head started turning grey, and now my eyebrows have dandruff! It is a never-ending battle with my own skin. I just gently wash them with a mild soap and hope for the best.

Haan na, eyebrows mein dandruff hona thoda weird lagta hai aur face par flaky dikhta hai. Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser and keep the area dry, heavy creams avoid karo.

Please don't trust random internet tips like applying harsh lemon juice or concentrated tea tree oil near your eyes. You can cause severe irritation. It is best to verify with a dermatologist first.

Since this is so close to your eyes, please be extremely cautious about what you apply. A dermatologist can easily prescribe a safe, mild cream that won't irritate your eyes.

This is usually seborrheic dermatitis, and using heavy oils like coconut or mustard oil will only make it worse because the yeast feeds on it. Use a ketoconazole-based wash gently, and keep the skin hydrated with a gel-based moisturizer.

I noticed my skin gets extra flaky when I indulge too much in oily and sugary sweets during festive seasons. Eating clean and drinking more water definitely helps my skin stay balanced.

Eyebrow dandruff is quite common and usually related to seborrheic dermatitis. Getting it checked by a skin doctor is the best approach.

I had this issue last winter and it was so annoying. I just started using my anti-dandruff shampoo on my eyebrows once a week while showering and it cleared up. Just make sure you don't get it in your eyes.

In our family, we used a very light application of aloe vera gel to soothe dry skin on the face. However, the skin near the eyes is very delicate, so do not use any strong home remedies without being sure.

With PCOS, hormonal imbalances can sometimes cause excess sebum production, leading to flaky brows. I manage my skin gently and consult my doctor before trying any new routines.

I can only share that using a tiny bit of diluted baby shampoo to gently clean my eyebrows in the shower helped clear my flakiness. I made sure to dry the area properly afterward.
