How to get rid of excess skin from weight loss?

After my weight loss journey, I'm left with a lot of saggy skin, particularly on my thighs and underarms. It feels uncomfortable and looks odd. How can one reduce or get rid of this excess skin from weight loss?

It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed and anxious when you see loose skin after working so hard. Please remember this doesn't mean your effort was wasted. Take it slow and speak to a dermatologist or a fitness expert to guide you gently.

Haan yaar, yeh loose skin thoda look kharab toh karti hai, but don't lose heart. Weight loss kiya hai toh body ko adjust hone mein time toh lagega na. Just focus on strength training thoda thoda.

I totally understand what you are going through because my thighs looked so saggy after I lost 15 kgs. What worked for me was drinking plenty of water and doing basic bodyweight squats. It takes months, so be kind to yourself.

Before you think of any expensive skin tightening creams or clinical treatments, consult a budget-friendly dermatologist first. I planned a basic consultation fee of 500 rupees and got practical advice instead of wasting thousands on useless commercial oils.

I am just starting my weight loss journey and I am very scared of getting loose skin. Is there any way to prevent it from happening right from the start? Should I lose weight very slowly to avoid this?

Honestly, I barely get 5 hours of sleep managing work and gym, and now this loose skin is my new headache. I just wear loose t-shirts and pretend it is not there while I slowly lift weights to fill it up. It is a slow process, trust me.

The key is building muscle under that skin to fill the gap. Focus on a high-protein diet to support skin elasticity and start lifting weights 3-4 times a week. It won't vanish completely if the loss was massive, but it improves significantly.

I panicked so much when my belly skin looked wrinkled after losing 20 kgs post-pregnancy. But my doctor assured me it's totally normal. After a year of consistent hydration and light weight training, it tightened up quite a bit on its own.

You have achieved a great milestone by losing weight. Please give your body some time to heal and adjust. Slowly, with gentle exercises, you will see a difference.

I have so much loose skin on my stomach and arms now and it looks really weird. Does anyone else get scared that it will never tighten up? I feel so self-conscious wearing short sleeves now.
