How to get rid of excess skin after weight loss?

I've lost a significant amount of weight recently, which I'm happy about, but now I have a lot of loose skin, especially around my stomach and arms. It's quite bothersome. What are some ways to get rid of this excess skin after weight loss?

Honestly, I tried everything from dry brushing to olive oil massages twice a day after losing 25 kgs. While these moisturize your skin and make it soft, they won't magically shrink loose skin. It just takes a lot of patience, light strength training, and staying hydrated.

I am also facing this right now on my belly after losing 18 kgs and it really stresses me out. Did anyone else feel like their confidence actually went down after losing weight because of this skin? Please let me know if it gets better naturally.

According to my fitness app data, tracking a steady and slow weight loss rate of 0.5 kg per week gives skin more time to adjust. If the deficit was too fast, skin loses elasticity. Try monitoring your daily protein intake and hydration levels on an app to support recovery.

Same here girl, I had so much loose skin around my arms after my weight loss journey. Don't rush into anything extreme, just give your body some time to adapt. Focus on building some lean muscle to fill out that space naturally.

I was actually reading up on this today because I want to start my own fitness journey soon. From what I found, age and genetics play a huge role in how much your skin bounces back. It seems like building muscle is the main non-surgical way to improve it.
