How to get rid of elbow joint pain?

Been having this constant ache in my elbow joint for a few weeks now, especially when I try to lift things. My physio said it might be tendinitis. Any tips on how to relieve this pain?

Joint pains can sometimes be aggravated by poor circulation or lifestyle issues like high blood pressure and stress. It is very important to get a regular medical checkup to find the root cause of your elbow joint pain. Meanwhile, avoid lifting heavy weights and keep your movements gentle.

I just recovered from severe elbow joint pain which turned out to be tennis elbow from typing continuously. Applying cold compresses for 15 minutes a day and wearing a supportive elbow brace helped me recover completely. Definitely consult a doctor if the pain is sharp or doesn't subside.

I got bad elbow pain from playing badminton and constantly carrying a heavy backpack. Resting it for a week and applying a basic pain relief gel really helped. If you are doing gym workouts, make sure your form is correct, otherwise your joints will pay the price.

For elbow pain, my mother always suggests massaging the joint gently with warm mustard oil. It gives great comfort and warmth to the joint. But if the pain is very sharp or there is swelling, please go to a nearby doctor and get it checked properly.

The most practical approach for elbow joint pain is the RICE method: Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation. Avoid repetitive twisting motions of your hand and wrist for a few days. If the pain continues for more than a week, a quick visit to an orthopedist is highly recommended.

My elders always tell me to apply a warm compress for joint stiffness, which does help relieve the dull ache. However, joint pain can sometimes be due to ligament strain or inflammation, so we must trust a doctor's diagnosis. Please consult an orthopedist for proper guidance.

Having dealt with chronic elbow joint pain, I can tell you that ergonomic adjustments are key. Adjust your desk height so your elbows are at a 90-degree angle while typing, and use an elbow support strap. Also, seek professional advice from a physiotherapist for targeted strengthening exercises.

I had a similar elbow ache from lifting heavy grocery bags and working long hours on my laptop. Giving the hand proper rest and using a simple heating pad for 10 minutes at night helped soothe the muscles. Do take care and don't push yourself if it hurts.
