How to get rid of eczema white spots?

My skin has these white patches because of eczema, especially on my arms. They look quite odd, and it makes me a bit self-conscious. Does anyone know how to get rid of them completely?

White spots left by eczema, often called pityriasis alba, are quite common and respond well to gentle care. I recommend applying pure coconut oil daily and practicing deep breathing to calm the nervous system, which helps skin healing. Be patient with your body as it recovers its natural color.

I have learned that skin discoloration can sometimes be linked to nutritional deficiencies or overall systemic health. Along with keeping your skin moisturized, make sure you get regular health checkups and maintain a healthy lifestyle. A doctor can easily diagnose the exact cause of these white spots.

For eczema white spots, the most practical solution is deep hydration. Eczema dries out the pigment-producing cells temporarily, so applying a heavy, fragrance-free moisturizer daily helps the skin recover its natural tone. Avoid harsh soaps on those areas entirely.

I once ignored some white patches on my skin, assuming they were just dry spots, and they ended up spreading. Please don't make the mistake of self-diagnosing. Get a dermatologist to look at them to make sure it is just post-eczema dryness and not something else.

I was researching about this because my younger brother got these white spots after his eczema cleared up. From what I read, it seems like a very common issue that gradually goes away once the skin barrier heals. Still, getting a professional opinion from a doctor is always the safest route.
