How to get rid of eczema on head?

I've noticed some red, itchy patches on my scalp and around my hairline, which I think is eczema. It's really annoying. How can I get rid of eczema on my head without making my hair oily?

I just got over a nasty bout of scalp eczema last month. My doctor gave me a coal tar shampoo and a topical lotion which worked wonders within two weeks. Also, stop using very hot water for hair washes as it strips the scalp of natural oils and triggers the itchiness.

Before you spend thousands on expensive organic shampoos and hair serums, just visit a government hospital or a local skin specialist first. A single consultation and a basic medicated shampoo prescription will cost you much less and actually solve the root cause of your scalp eczema. Plan your budget wisely instead of falling for fancy products.

Sweat from my workouts used to make my scalp eczema flare up and itch like crazy. Now, I make sure to rinse my hair with cool water immediately after a heavy gym session so sweat doesn't sit on my scalp. Also, keeping hydrated and eating clean, whole foods definitely helped reduce the inflammation.

For scalp eczema, avoid oiling your hair heavily and leaving it overnight, as it can sometimes feed the yeast and make it worse. Wash your hair regularly with a mild, fragrance-free baby shampoo instead. Also, make sure you dry your hair completely but naturally, without using high heat from a blow dryer.

Dealing with scalp issues is so tricky, especially when you have hormonal imbalances like PCOS which already affect hair health. I try to be very gentle and avoid harsh chemical shampoos or hair colors when my scalp feels irritated. It is always safest to consult a dermatologist to find a gentle routine that won't cause hair fall.

Haan, scalp eczema can be so annoying, hair fall ka darr bhi lagta hai na. Try using lukewarm water for washing your hair and avoid scratching with your nails at all costs. A simple anti-dandruff or medicated shampoo recommended by a dermatologist will clear it up quickly, don't worry.
