For feet eczema, keeping the skin barrier intact is the most important thing. Apply a thick emollient immediately after your bath while the skin is still slightly damp. Avoid thin lotions with strong perfumes as they only irritate the skin further. If it is cracking or weeping, you definitely need a proper dermat checkup for a mild steroid or non-steroidal ointment.

Honestly, the best thing that worked for me was changing my socks twice a day and using mild soap like Dove. Cotton socks only, absolutely no synthetic materials which trap sweat. After washing my feet at night, I apply basic white petroleum jelly and wear clean cotton socks to bed. It keeps the skin soft and stops the crazy itching.

My grandmother used to say to apply pure virgin coconut oil on the dry patches, which does give thoda relief from dryness. But for actual eczema, home remedies can only do so much, na. We went to a skin specialist in Madurai and they gave a specific cream which cleared it up nicely. Please don't ignore it if the itching is too much.

I tried everything from neem water to haldi paste for my feet eczema, but honestly, some home remedies made it even more dry. Now I just stick to lukewarm water baths and immediately apply a thick, unscented moisturizer. Don't scrub your feet with hard pumice stones or loofahs, it makes the eczema flare up like crazy.

Eczema on feet is so scary because you always worry about secondary bacterial infections from walking around. I get so anxious every time the skin cracks, so I constantly sanitize my footwear and keep my feet covered. Please consult a dermatologist before trying random remedies, you don't want it spreading or getting infected.
