How to get rid of cold sores and fever blisters?

I keep getting these painful cold sores and fever blisters around my mouth, especially when I'm stressed. They look bad and make it hard to eat. Is there anything effective I can do to get rid of them quickly?

I get these flare-ups whenever my thyroid levels are fluctuating because my immunity goes down. It is very important to get a proper blood checkup done and show a doctor. They usually prescribe a specific antiviral cream that clears it up quickly.

Since these are viral blisters, you have to be very careful about hygiene so you don't pass it to others. Please don't try self-medicating or using random home remedies on sensitive lip skin. It is best to visit a dermatologist and get the correct diagnosis.

I literally had a huge one on my lower lip last week because of stress. My doctor gave me an antiviral tablet course and a cream. Keep the area moisturized with basic petroleum jelly once the blisters dry up so they don't bleed.

Dude, cold sores are so irritating and painful, actually. Just don't touch them or try to pop them, yaar, otherwise they spread like crazy. Just apply ice wrapped in a clean cloth for some relief till you get a proper ointment.

Does anyone else also feel a weird tingling sensation on their lips a day before the blister actually appears? It makes me so anxious because I know a sore is coming. What do you guys do at that early stage to stop it?
