How to get rid of cervical pain?

Been working from home a lot, sitting long hours, and now I have this constant pain in my neck. It’s making it hard to even turn my head sometimes. My mother-in-law suggested some home remedies, but nothing seems to really help.

I set an hourly posture reminder on my smartwatch to avoid slouching at my desk. Doing simple neck stretches and using an orthopedic cervical pillow has made a massive difference for my neck stiffness. Try tracking your posture daily.

I totally get it, cervical pain is absolutely miserable and makes it so hard to work. Try using a hot water bag on your neck for 15 minutes, it really helps soothe the tight muscles. Please take frequent breaks from your screen too.

I visited the physiotherapy department at a good hospital when my neck pain started radiating down my arm. They showed me specific exercises and advised against self-treatment. Ask your doctor clearly for a proper diagnosis first.

A warm heating pad and some gentle neck rotations work wonders for me. Keep your screen at eye level and do not look down at your phone for too long. Take care and stay positive.

I agree with the advice on posture. Changing my laptop height and using a cervical collar during long drives really helped reduce my daily neck pain.
