How to get rid of cavities without dentist?

I really dislike going to the dentist and I'm looking for alternatives. Are there any actual methods to get rid of cavities without a dentist, even for minor ones?

My family dentist explained that once decay crosses the enamel layer, it cannot remineralize naturally. There is physically no way to clear the infection and seal the tooth without professional tools. Delaying only leads to root canals or extractions.

I was looking for every possible way to avoid the dentist because of my phobia, but honestly, it was a very simple 15-minute procedure. They just cleaned and put a tooth-colored filling, and it didn't even hurt. Don't worry at all!

Don't fall for internet articles claiming you can cure cavities with coconut oil or herbal powders. It is scientifically impossible to regrow decayed dentin at home. Verify with a qualified dentist before wasting your time.

While we can maintain oral hygiene at home with flossing and limiting sugar, an active cavity requires clinical treatment. It is best to consult a professional dentist to prevent the decay from spreading further.

I completely understand the anxiety and fear of going to a dentist, it can be really scary. But avoiding it will only cause more pain later. Modern clinics are very gentle, so please take a deep breath and go for a checkup.

I was also researching this online and found that small superficial lesions can sometimes be halted with high-fluoride paste, but actual cavities with holes can never be cured without a dentist. Better to get it checked.
