How to get rid of cavities at home?

I've been noticing some sensitivity in my teeth lately, and I'm pretty sure I have a cavity. I'm a bit scared of the dentist right now. Are there any reliable ways to get rid of cavities at home?

Honestly, you cannot reverse a proper cavity just by diet or lifestyle. But to prevent further decay, cutting down on sweet sticky foods and rinsing after every vegetarian meal helps. Definitely see a dentist for the actual cavity.

Please don't believe those YouTube videos saying oil pulling or salt water can cure a deep cavity. Once the tooth enamel is gone, only a dentist can clean and fill it. Go get it checked before you need a painful root canal.

Since I deal with PCOS, I am always careful about what home remedies I try as my body is already sensitive. With teeth, I think it is best not to experiment too much. Better to visit a dentist early and get a simple filling done.

My 8-year-old had a small cavity and we tried all sorts of home rinsing, but the pain only grew. Eventually, the dentist filled it in ten minutes and my child was so relieved. Do not delay, just book a dental appointment.
