How to get rid of ankle pain?

Been playing a lot of cricket lately, and my left ankle has started hurting quite a bit. It’s especially bad after matches. What can I do to get some relief?

Before you run to a big hospital and spend 3000 rupees on an X-ray or MRI, try the basic RICE method first. Rest it for two days and see if the pain goes down. If it is still hurting bad, then go to a local government hospital clinic where doctor consultation fees are minimal.

Honestly I was just reading up on this because my cousin twisted his foot last week. Most articles say to just give it rest and use an ice pack for the first few days. Is there any swelling or did you just wake up with it?

Bro, same thing happened to me during football practice. I just sprayed some Volini, wrapped a bandage and took rest for 3 days. Do not try to stretch it or do workouts right now, just chill on bed.

Oh God, ankle pain is so scary because you worry if it is a ligament tear or something major. Please dont put any weight on it at all today. Just keep it elevated on a pillow and pray it is just a minor strain, but if it turns blue you should go to the doc immediately.

Dekho, simple baat hai. If you fell down or twisted it, it needs proper rest and maybe a crepe bandage. No running around or heavy walking for at least a week. If the pain is coming without any injury, then get your uric acid checked by a doctor.

Keep a crepe bandage handy and apply a good pain relief gel twice a day, but dont massage it too hard. If there is no fracture, some basic warm water fermentation helps after 48 hours. Let me know if you are able to bend your toes or not.
