Applying a damp, cool cloth on your forehead helps bring down the body temperature quickly. Drink plenty of warm water or electoral powder to stay hydrated. If the fever is high, please take paracetamol as advised by your family doctor.

A fever is a symptom of an underlying infection, so trying to get rid of it 'asap' without knowing the cause is not advisable. Please get a proper clinical evaluation, especially if the fever is accompanied by a stiff neck or rash. Safe treatment is always best.

A fever is just your body's way of telling you to finally stop running around and take some rest! Sleep as much as you can and sip on simple rice kanji. Don't rush to get back to work immediately, let the body heal.

Keep a close watch on your body temperature using a digital thermometer every few hours. Make sure you are drinking enough fluids to keep your hydration levels optimal on your tracker app. If the fever persists beyond two days, consult a physician.

Keep your mind calm, stay positive, and rest your body fully during this time. Drinking simple warm water and eating light home food will help your body regain its natural balance. Take care and have patience.

Eat very light, easily digestible vegetarian meals like moong dal khichdi or vegetable broth. Avoid heavy, oily dairy foods when your digestion is weak due to fever. Hydration is extremely important, so keep sipping warm water.

There are no magic shortcuts to cure a fever instantly because your immune system needs time to fight the pathogen. Take a basic paracetamol to manage the temperature and body ache, and consult a general physician if it doesn't settle within 48 hours.

When I had a sudden high fever last winter, my doctor prescribed paracetamol and advised me to do cold sponging to control the temperature. Resting completely and drinking coconut water helped me recover in a few days. That was my experience.

Do not attempt to work through a fever as it will only prolong your recovery. Take a medical leave, rest completely, and consult a doctor online for the correct dosage of antipyretics. Staying hydrated is the fastest way to support your recovery.

My mother always suggested drinking warm herbal tea with tulsi and pepper for a mild temperature. However, for any real fever, we must consult our family doctor and get blood tests done if it persists. Please do not self-medicate blindly.

Over the years, I have learned that trying to force a fever down with too many medicines does more harm than good. Just rest under a light blanket, eat simple warm khichdi, and let your body fight it out naturally. Consult your doctor if it stays high.
