When I had terrible side pain, my local clinic did an ultrasound for just 800 rupees to confirm the kidney stone. Don't delay getting a scan because ignoring it can lead to bigger hospital expenses later. Drink lots of plain water to help flush it out if it is small.

My urologist explained that for stones smaller than 5mm, drinking 3 liters of water daily is crucial to push them through the urinary tract. He prescribed specific antispasmodic medications to relax the ureter muscles and ease the sharp pain. Please get an ultrasound to know the exact size.

I got so terrified when I felt that sudden sharp pain in my back, thinking it was something life-threatening. Drinking coconut water helped soothe things, but I was constantly worried. Please get it checked by a doctor so you don't stress needlessly like I did.

While home remedies like drinking barley water are popular, clinical diagnosis is essential for kidney stones. Severe, radiating pain in your lower back or blood in your urine requires immediate medical attention. Please consult a specialist rather than self-treating.

If you are prone to calcium oxalate stones, you might want to reduce spinach, tomatoes, and chocolates in your diet as advised by my dietitian. Drink plenty of lemon water as the citrates help inhibit stone formation. But do consult your doctor for immediate pain relief.

Don't sit around waiting for home remedies to work if the pain is unbearable. Go to a hospital emergency room; they can give you an IV painkiller to provide instant relief. Then, get a CT scan or ultrasound to plan the next steps with a urologist.

Bhai, kidney stone pain is very sharp and painful. Drink lots of warm water and coconut water to help it pass naturally if it's small. But if you have vomiting or fever with the pain, please go to the town doctor immediately.
