How to get admitted to hospital for pain?

My mother has been in severe pain for the last few days due to her back problem, and we are struggling to manage it at home. When is it appropriate to consider hospital admission for pain management in India?

For severe pain, the most direct route for hospital admission is the emergency room. Be very clear about the intensity of your pain and any associated symptoms. They will perform initial assessments and tests. Be aware that emergency visits and subsequent admissions can be costly, so if you have health insurance, keep those details handy. Always prioritize your health, but plan financially too.

Hey, don't stress too much about getting admitted, just focus on getting the pain checked! If your pain is severe and not going away, the best thing is to go straight to the emergency room at a good hospital. Explain clearly where it hurts, how much, and any other symptoms. They'll do tests and admit you if it's serious. Don't delay, okay?

It's completely normal to feel anxious when you're in severe pain and considering hospital admission. Please know that seeking help is the right thing to do. Just go to the emergency room of your nearest hospital. Be very specific about your pain, how it feels, where it is, and if anything makes it worse or better. They will evaluate you and decide on admission. Your well-being matters.

If you are experiencing severe pain that warrants hospital admission, the appropriate course of action is to present to the Emergency Department of a hospital. Clearly articulate your symptoms, the pain's intensity (perhaps on a scale of 1-10), its location, duration, and any aggravating or alleviating factors. The medical team will conduct an evaluation and determine if admission for further investigation or treatment is necessary. Always follow professional medical advice.

Oh, for severe pain... I guess we should go to the emergency room, right? Do we need to call ahead, or can we just go directly? And what if the pain is really bad, will they help quickly?

I had severe pain last month and ended up in the hospital. What I did was just go to the nearest big hospital's emergency gate. I told them my symptoms, they did some quick checks, and then directed me to the doctor on duty. After some tests, they admitted me for observation. So don't overthink, just go to the ER.

Admitted for pain? Well, you don't just walk in and ask for a room like it's a hotel, even if you feel like you're in five-star agony! 😂 You need to go straight to the emergency room. Tell them all your pain stories, every little detail. They'll do their tests and if it's bad enough, they'll check you in. Hang in there!
