How to fully get rid of dandruff?

Been dealing with dandruff for ages now, and nothing seems to work fully. My scalp is always so itchy and flaky, especially after washing my hair. What are some permanent solutions to get rid of it completely?

Dandruff, haan? My grandmother used to say to mix a bit of curd with lemon juice and apply it to the scalp before washing. Leave it for half an hour. Also, make sure to wash your hair regularly and gently, and use a clean comb. These small things help a lot.

Dandruff is quite common, don't worry too much. I remember struggling with it in my younger days. What helped me was finding a shampoo that suited my scalp and sticking to it. And don't scratch your head too much, it just makes it worse. Be patient, it will get better.

Sometimes dandruff can be related to overall scalp health. A healthy diet and regular exercise can improve blood circulation, including to your scalp. Make sure you're getting enough vitamins. And keep your hair clean after workouts!

Forget fancy stuff, get a good anti-dandruff shampoo with zinc pyrithione or selenium sulfide. Use it consistently for a few weeks. If it doesn't clear, see a dermatologist. Don't mess around with too many home remedies if it's persistent.

I can only tell you what worked for me. I switched to a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and made sure to rinse my hair very thoroughly. Also, I avoid hot water on my scalp. It cleared up most of my dandruff issues, thankfully.

I used to have stubborn dandruff! I found consistency with an anti-dandruff shampoo that my dermatologist recommended was key. Also, tracking my water intake and stress levels on my health app seemed to indirectly help my scalp health. Maintaining scalp hygiene is important!
