How to flush kidney out?

I've heard about 'flushing your kidneys' to keep them healthy. Is this actually a thing? And if so, what's the best way to do it?

Betaji, your kidneys work hard for you all the time. The best way to 'flush' them is to simply drink enough plain water every day, consistently. Don't worry too much about fancy cleanses. A balanced diet and good hydration are what truly keep them healthy in the long run. My mother always said, 'simple living, pure body'.

I had a scare with kidney issues a while back. My doctor just told me to drastically increase my water intake. Like, 3-4 liters a day. Also, cut down on salt and processed foods. It really does make a difference. No special 'flushing' needed, just consistent hydration.

For kidney health, beyond just water, a good diet plays a huge role. Avoid excessive protein, too much sodium, and stay away from sugary drinks. Regular exercise also helps maintain overall body function, including your kidneys. It's about a holistic approach, not a quick fix.

I'm not sure what 'flushing' a kidney means. Is it like a detox? Can we just drink special juices or something to do it? Or does it mean something else for kidneys? I'm a bit confused.

Haan yaar, mostly pani hi peena chahiye bahut sara. Koi special drink ka jhanjhat nahin hai. Bas regularly paani piyo aur namak thoda kam khao. Simple funda hai.

Totally agree with drinking plenty of water. It’s the simplest and most effective way to help your kidneys.

The term 'flush' can be misleading. Your kidneys are natural filters. The best way to support their function is consistent hydration with water, a balanced diet low in sodium and processed foods, and avoiding excessive alcohol or certain medications without doctor's advice. If you have concerns, consult a nephrologist.
