How to fix tooth pain at home?

I have a terrible toothache right now, and the dental clinic is closed. My grandmother suggested some remedies, but I'm looking for effective ways to fix this tooth pain at home until I can see a dentist.

Okay, for tooth pain at home, temporary relief is all you can aim for. Warm salt water rinses are effective for cleaning and reducing swelling. A dab of clove oil on the affected area can numb it for a bit. But seriously, this is just a stop-gap. You NEED to see a dentist for the actual fix. Don't delay.

Bro, tooth pain is a nightmare. I once had it bad. For home, I just kept rinsing with warm salt water, and my mom made me put some clove (laung) on it. That gave some relief. But honestly, after a day, I just went to the dentist. It's the only real fix, yaar.

Ugh, tooth pain is the worst, especially when you're trying to study! What I do at home is just keep rinsing my mouth with warm salt water, like my Dadi always says. And sometimes an ice pack on the outside of my cheek helps with the throbbing. But yeah, if it doesn't go away, it's straight to the dentist, no messing around.

Tooth pain sounds really awful. I've heard about clove oil, but is it safe to use? And do warm compresses help from outside the cheek?

Home remedies for tooth pain are for temporary relief only, and sometimes they don't even work. Please, do not try anything drastic or unverified you find online. A toothache usually means a cavity or an infection that needs professional dental care. Go to a dentist; don't risk your dental health on internet 'fixes'.

Oh my god, tooth pain is the absolute worst! When I get it, I do warm salt water rinses multiple times a day, and sometimes I apply a little bit of clove oil very carefully. It helps to numb it a bit. But honestly, if it's persistent, you really need to go to the dentist ASAP, home remedies are just a temporary band-aid.

Namaste. For temporary comfort from tooth pain at home, you can try gently gargling with warm water with a pinch of rock salt. Some find placing a small cotton ball with a drop of clove oil on the affected tooth to be soothing. Also, avoid extremely hot or cold foods. These are temporary measures; a visit to the dentist is essential for a lasting solution.
