How to fix liver and onions?

My mother used to make delicious liver and onions, but mine always turn out a bit tough or too watery. I want to cook it well for my family. Any tips on how to fix liver and onions so they are tender and tasty?

Oh, 'liver and onions' is a dish, right? I was so confused for a second thinking it was a health problem! My grandma used to make it, but I always found liver a bit tricky to cook without it getting tough. Curious to see tips on making it taste better!

Okay, so for liver and onions, my go-to is to slice the liver thin, dust with a little flour, and fry quickly till just done. Onions should be caramelized separately to get that sweetness. Mix 'em together at the end. Don't overdo the liver, that's the cardinal rule.

To make liver and onions tastier, I've seen my mother use a bit of ginger-garlic paste and some garam masala while sautéing the onions. It really cuts through the strong liver taste. Also, adding a splash of vinegar or lemon juice at the end brightens the flavor. It makes a big difference!

Haan yaar, liver and onions ko achha banane ke liye, pehle liver ko thode dahi ya sirke mein marinate kar lo. Usse na, smell kam ho jaati hai aur tender bhi hota hai. Phir onions ko achhe se brown karo, ekdum caramelized. Phir liver ko fry karke saath mein mix kar do. Mazedar banega!

Liver and onions? My doctor told me to eat more greens, not liver! But if you *must* 'fix' it, please don't burn it. No one likes burnt liver. And maybe add a tiny bit of chilli powder to make it exciting. After a certain age, food has to be exciting, no?

For liver and onions, the key is to soak the liver in milk for about an hour before cooking; this removes bitterness and tenderizes it. Also, don't overcook the liver, it becomes rubbery very quickly. Sear it quickly and then let it finish cooking with the onions. My mum's recipe is exactly like this!

Wait, is this a cooking question or a health question? 'Fix' liver and onions sounds like a recipe! If you're asking how to cook it better, then that's one thing. If you think eating liver and onions is a health remedy for liver issues, please, please consult a real doctor, not some random internet recipe!
