How to fix kidney stones?

My husband recently found out he has kidney stones, and he's in so much discomfort. We're trying to avoid surgery if possible. Are there any natural remedies or tips to help him pass them or reduce their size?

Kidney stones can be incredibly painful and even lead to complications if not managed properly. I had a severe case that required intervention. Please do not try to self-treat this. See a urologist immediately. They can determine the size and type of stone and advise on the best course of action, which might involve medication, lithotripsy, or surgery.

Oh, kidney stones! I remember the agony, dear. It passes, truly. Drink plenty, plenty of water, they say lemon water helps some. And the doctor gave me medicines for the pain. It's a tough time, but be patient, many of us have been through it and recovered. Keep faith.

The pain from kidney stones is legendary, and it's perfectly valid to feel anxious and scared about it. I've heard stories and it sounds awful. Don't feel like you have to be brave; it's okay to seek immediate help for that kind of pain. Your comfort and health come first.

Beta, for small stones, our elders used to say drink plenty of Kulthi (horse gram) water. It helps cleanse. Also, basil leaves juice mixed with honey. But if the pain is severe, these remedies won't be enough. You must go to the hospital then, to see what the doctor advises.

Kidney stones can have various causes, and it's important to understand the type you have. While drinking plenty of water is generally helpful, relying solely on home remedies for severe pain or larger stones might not be enough. Please consult a doctor to get a clear picture and the right treatment plan for you.

For kidney stones, especially if you have diabetes, managing your diet is key. Avoid foods high in oxalates, if it's an oxalate stone, and definitely keep your sugar levels in check as overall health affects stone formation. But first, get a doctor's diagnosis to know what kind of stone it is and how to treat it. Don't rely on random food advice before that.

Please, do not start trying random internet 'cures' for kidney stones. They are serious and can cause severe damage if not treated correctly. You need to see a urologist immediately. They will do scans to find out the size and location, and only then suggest proper treatment. Your kidneys are too important for guesswork.

I literally just passed a kidney stone a few months ago, it was pure hell! My doc told me to drink tons of water, especially lemon water, and he gave me meds for the pain. It was excruciating but eventually passed. You absolutely need to see a doctor to confirm it's a stone and get proper pain management.

Kidney stones are not something to self-diagnose or self-treat. The size and type of stone dictate the treatment. It's crucial to get a proper medical diagnosis from a urologist. They might recommend specific medications or procedures. Please get it checked promptly.
