How to fix jaw pain?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been having this dull ache in my jaw, especially when I chew or yawn. Sometimes it feels like it's locked. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about?

Yaar, jaw pain is the worst, especially if it's TMJ. I had it from clenching my teeth while stressed. Actually, try to relax your jaw consciously throughout the day, avoid chewing gum. A warm compress can help too. But if it's constant, see a dentist or an ENT specialist.

Sometimes our body holds a lot of tension, even in the jaw. Try to find moments of peace, maybe some gentle meditation. Stay positive, eat soft foods for a bit, and take care of yourself. If the pain is too much, then naturally, consult a doctor.

I had jaw pain after a particularly stressful period. I found that consciously trying to keep my teeth apart and massaging the muscles around my jaw helped. Also, I avoided tough-to-chew foods for a while. This worked for me, but everyone's body is different.

There are some good apps that have guided relaxation for jaw tension. Also, check if your fitness tracker has a stress monitor; high stress can lead to clenching. Try some facial massage techniques you can find online. But for actual treatment, a specialist is key.

Jaw pain? Add it to the list of things I have because I don't get enough sleep! Honestly, try a warm compress, it's surprisingly soothing. And maybe try to relax your face. When I'm tired, I realize I clench my jaw without even knowing. Another reason to try and catch some Z's!

My daughter had jaw pain from unconsciously clenching her teeth at night. The dentist suggested she try to be more mindful during the day and sometimes even gave her a mouth guard to wear while sleeping. We found that warm compresses helped her feel better before bed.

Please don't ignore jaw pain. I did initially, thinking it was stress, but it turned out to be a displaced disc in my temporomandibular joint. It got very complicated later. See a doctor, preferably a dentist or an oral surgeon, as soon as possible. Better to catch it early.

Jaw pain can be very tricky. Is it from grinding teeth, stress, or maybe a dental issue? Don't self-diagnose. Go to a dentist first, they often deal with this. They might refer you to someone else if needed, but start there. No point suffering.
