How to find out if you have asthma?

I've been experiencing a lot of coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath, especially at night or when I exercise. My friend said it sounds like asthma, but I'm not sure. How do doctors actually diagnose if someone has asthma?

Hey, if you're worried about asthma, the best thing is to see a doctor, yaar. They can do some tests and tell you properly. Don't stress too much before that, okay? Just observe your symptoms.

Namaste. If you are feeling breathing issues, do consult a doctor. And remember to keep your mind calm and positive. Sometimes our thoughts also affect our body. Take care of yourself.

For proper diagnosis of asthma, you'll need to consult a pulmonologist. They typically conduct lung function tests like spirometry. Self-diagnosing isn't advisable as symptoms can overlap with other conditions.

Honestly, if you're asking this, maybe your lungs are telling you something! 😂 But seriously, don't play doctor with yourself. Go to a real doc, they'll check you out. Maybe it's just a dust allergy from all the spring cleaning, who knows!

You can track your breathing patterns and any shortness of breath using some health apps, but that's just for info. For an actual diagnosis, you definitely need to see a specialist. They have specific tests to confirm asthma.
