How to fight eczema?

My skin gets these red, itchy patches, especially in the dry weather. It's been diagnosed as eczema, and it's so uncomfortable. What are some effective ways to fight eczema and manage the flare-ups?

Eczema is tricky, man. For me, diet plays a huge role. I avoid inflammatory foods and focus on hydration. Sweating from workouts can sometimes irritate it, so a quick shower and good moisturiser right after is essential. It's about finding your triggers.

I suffered from eczema for years, it was so frustrating. What helped me was seeing a good dermatologist who prescribed specific creams. Also, using a really thick, unscented moisturizer multiple times a day and avoiding hot showers made a huge difference. My skin is much better now.

Eczema, like PCOS, needs a very gentle and consistent approach. You need to identify triggers – for some, it's certain foods, for others, it's harsh soaps or stress. Use mild, fragrance-free products and keep skin moisturised. Don't scratch, it makes it worse!

For eczema, my grandmother always said to use virgin coconut oil, and it does help soothe dry skin. But if it's severe or persistent, you absolutely must consult a dermatologist. They can provide targeted treatment and identify specific allergies. Home remedies are good for mild cases only.

Eczema, oh that's a tough one. My skin feels like a lizard sometimes, always dry and itchy. I just try to avoid anything that makes it worse – harsh soaps, too much sun, and sometimes even spicy food. And definitely moisturise like it's your full-time job!
