How to fall asleep with a fever?

I've been down with a fever for a couple of days, and the restlessness makes it impossible to sleep. What are some ways to try and fall asleep comfortably when you have a fever?

Having PCOS, my body sometimes reacts differently. With fever, I try to keep myself hydrated and comfortable. Don't force sleep if you're too uncomfortable; sometimes sitting up with a cool cloth helps. And please check with a doctor if the fever is high or doesn't go down.

I usually struggle with this too. Do you think a very light blanket helps or no blanket at all? I get confused about what to do with the covers.

Dude, don't ignore fevers. I once tried to just sleep through a persistent fever and it got worse. Make sure you take whatever medicine your doctor recommends and then try to rest. Check with a doctor first, seriously.

When you have a fever, your body needs rest to recover. I usually focus on light, easy-to-digest food like khichdi and lots of water. And skip the workout, obviously. Trying to push through will only make it longer.

Haan, it's so hard to sleep when you're all hot and sweaty! I usually just try to keep a cold compress on my forehead and drink lots of fluids. But sometimes nothing works, toh just suffer through it, I guess.

Beta, try a lukewarm sponge bath, it can help bring the temperature down a bit. And keep a small fan on if it's too hot. Drink plenty of ORS or nimbu paani. If the fever persists, please do not delay in consulting the doctor.
