How to examine breast cancer at home?

My mother is getting older, and I want her to be aware of breast cancer. How can I teach her to examine herself at home for any signs?

While you can do self-exams at home to feel for changes, this is NOT a diagnostic tool. For any serious symptoms or changes you notice, you absolutely MUST see a doctor. Home checks are for awareness, but only a doctor can properly examine and diagnose.

For something as serious as cancer, self-examination at home is only for awareness, not for diagnosis. If you feel any lump, pain, or notice any changes in your breast, you absolutely must get it checked by a doctor for safety. Early detection is key, so don't delay.

Haan, self-examination toh zaroori hai. You can feel for lumps or changes in your breasts after your period every month. But haan, agar kuch bhi alag lage na, immediately doc ke paas jao. Only a doctor can tell properly.

Self-examination is good for general awareness, but it's not a substitute for medical screening. If you find anything concerning, consult a doctor. And remember, a healthy diet with plenty of vegetables and fruits is always important for overall health and prevention.

It's so important to be aware of your body! You can do a self-breast exam regularly to know what's normal for you. Just stand in front of a mirror and feel for any lumps or changes. But if you find anything unusual, please go to a doctor, they're the experts! 💖

Thinking about breast cancer or doing self-exams can be really scary and bring up a lot of anxiety, I totally understand that emotional aspect. It's good to be informed about how to check yourself, but please, if you feel anything off, go to the doctor right away. Don't carry that worry alone.
